-the fishnets, particularly for the shaded one, work best on vector layers. select the area you wish to fill, create a vector layer, and once you create a stroke, click on correct line -> control point, then adjust as needed.
-the shaded brush is preferrably used in black, however you can place color underneath to add more depth.
-the tear brush is very stylized and rough, you can also potentially use it for hair to create hard edges in the shading for highlights.
