This material collection includes materials that can be used in Studio Mode. (What is Studio Mode?)

This brush is used to draw parallel lines when casting shadows on backgrounds and people.

You can easily draw vertical parallel lines just by tracing horizontally.
By changing the angle or making it snap to ruler parallel, you can also draw diagonal and horizontal parallel lines.
The line width can be changed by brush size and the spacing is adjustable.

It is intended to be used in monochrome comics, but it can also be used in color.

We have prepared a total of 6 types of normal shadow lines and shadow lines with a lot of faintness.
Please use it according to your purpose. 背景や人物に影を入れる時に使用する、平行線を描くブラシです。

横になぞるだけで簡単に縦の平行線が描けます。
角度を変更したり、平行定規にスナップさせることで、斜めや横の平行線も描けます。
線の太さはブラシサイズで変更でき、間隔も調整可能です。

モノクロ漫画で使用することを想定していますが、カラーでも使用可能です。

通常の影線とかすれ多めの影線、合計6種類ご用意しました。
用途に合わせてご利用ください。



Just run the brush further to the side to easily draw parallel lines.

By adjusting the settings, you can change the line width, feeling, etc.


(1) You can change the brush size → line width

(2) gap of line can change the spacing between the → line and the gap between the line

(3) The angle of the line → you can change the angle of the line diagonally or horizontally

(4) You can adjust the length → the length of the line you draw. If you want to fill the screen, check "extend outside frame".





It is also possible to snap to ruler parallel lines.
This is more convenient because you can change the angle more easily.










* If you adjust the "Group", the gap of line etc. will be randomized. Try adjusting it if necessary. ↓








【How to use】

Here is an example. I hope you find it helpful.




(1) Apart from the lineart layer, prepare a shadow layer





(2) Draw a rough line on the part you want to add a shadow to


(3) Apply a mask to the shadow layer and erase the contents. OK if the mask turns black



(4) Place the antenna on the lineart layer and set as reference layer. Select the mask for the shadow layer and use the bucket tool or similar to fill the area you want to shadow.

(5) If necessary, scrape the mask, adjust it, and you're done ↓






The difference between the shadow line brush and the faint shadow line brush is as follows.
The top is a faint shadow line, and the bottom is a shadow line brush ↓
With the same brush size, the faint shadow lines are thinner and more faint.
If you raise the brush size too much, it may be less likely to fade ...

I think that the type with starting and ending can be used for speed lines in addition to shadows.

If you adjust the line width and spacing, you can use it for patterns on clothes.

横にさらっとブラシを走らせるだけで、簡単に平行線が描けます。




線の太さはブラシサイズで変更できます。





角度や線の間隔を変更したい場合は、以下を参照してください。




設定を調整することで、線の太さや感覚などを変更できます。


①ブラシサイズ→線の太さを変更できます

②線の間隔→線と線の隙間の間隔を変更できます

③線の角度→線の角度を斜めにしたり、横に変更できます

④長さ→描く線の長さを調整できます。画面いっぱいに描きたい場合は「コマ外まで延長」にチェックを入れてください。





平行線定規にスナップさせることも可能です。
こちらの方が簡単に角度を変えられるので便利です。










＊「まとまり」を調整すると線の間隔などがランダムになります。必要な場合は調整してみてください。↓








【使用方法】

一例としてご紹介いたします。参考になれば幸いです。




①線画レイヤーとは別に、影レイヤーを用意します





②影を付けたい部分にざっくりと線を描きます


③影レイヤーにマスクをかけ、中身を消去します。マスクが真っ黒になればOK



④線画レイヤーにアンテナを立て、参照レイヤーに設定します。影レイヤーのマスクを選択し、バケツツールなどを使って影を付けたい部分を塗ります。

⑤必要に応じてマスクに削りを入れ、調整すれば完成です↓






影線ブラシとかすれ影線ブラシの違いは以下の通りです。
上がかすれ影線、下が影線ブラシです↓
同じブラシサイズで、かすれ影線は細く、よりかすれた感じに描けます。
ブラシサイズを上げ過ぎると、かすれにくくなるかもしれません…

入り抜きがあるタイプは、影以外にスピード線などでも利用できると思います。

線の太さと間隔を調整すれば、服の柄などにも使用できると思います。
