Just a simple blender brush I have created that I always fall back on. ::P
Here is a simple example of the passes. It is very touch sensitive, and while the scale below seems rather unimpressive, the brush is very responsive and pulls a good deal of color.
For actual utilization, here is a bit a detail from the thumbnail. Enlarged, because I'm bad at size :P Below was done exclusive with the blend brush after the colors were heavily laid down.
