A scale pattern like a snake
A hand-drawn pattern for scales that are smooth like a snake!
The brush is pressure sensitive and flexible, but might look odd at tight corners. It looks best at a gentle curve or flat. You can airbrush on corners to hide the mistake.
Matching strokes side by side is tricky, so I often use the airbrush to lightly fade edges for a better visual effect! I also prefer some spots to stand out more or look more subtle so the pattern isn't too repetitive.
The effect looks best when combined with a few little highlights and shadows to stand out!A little shine gives the scales depth.

The scales will point in the opposite direction of your brush stroke.
It can also be used as a repeating pattern material.
