This material is a 3D model that reproduces the famous sword "Monoyoshi Sadamune" that has carved a name in history as accurately as possible.
The dimensions of the blade, the layering and original width, the structure of the ridge, the shape of the stem, and the position of the eye nail hole are modeled based on detailed materials.
The scythe and other fists were also carefully finished in detail.

■A famous sword that wears history
"Monoyoshi Sadamune" is a famous sword struck by Sadamune, who is said to be the son or adopted son of the master craftsman Masamune.
It is known as the love sword of Tokugawa Ieyasu and was named Monoyoshi because it is often slashed.
There is also a theory that this issue was given because if you wore this sword in battle, you would always win.
In any case, it is still a masterpiece that has been cherished since ancient times.
After the death of Tokugawa Ieyasu, it was handed down to the Owari Tokugawa family, the head of the three families, and was tightly sealed as the first famous sword that symbolized the family.
The ceremony in which successive masters inherited this sword was so much so that it was called the Monoyoshi Gokoshimono Gochodai, and it was treated as a regalial sword that showed a certain kind of authority.

■歴史を纏う名刀
『物吉貞宗』は、名工・正宗の子または養子と伝わる貞宗によって打たれた名刀です。
徳川家康の愛刀として知られ、良く斬れることから物吉と名付けられました。
また、この刀を帯びて戦に臨めば必ず勝利を得たことによることから、この号がつけられたとの説もあります。
いずれにせよ、古来より大切にされてきた名品であることに変わりはありません。
徳川家康の没後、御三家筆頭である尾張徳川家に伝わり、家を象徴する筆頭の名刀として厳重に封印されていました。
歴代の当主がこの刀を継承する儀式は、物吉御腰物御頂戴と呼ばれる程のものであり、ある種の権威を示すレガリア的な刀として扱われていました。
数々の名品が伝わる尾張徳川家において、現代に至るまで、特に大切にされてきた刀です。
現在も、日本が誇る美術品として大切に保存・継承されており、まさに日本刀文化の奥深さを物語る一振りです。
