In order to use this auto action effectively, a certain amount of space is required. First of all, it prepares your artwork with only characters without a background.
Please group the layers of your character into a folder as shown in the picture below. After selecting that folder, you need to run AutoAction!
Once you run it, you can fill in the empty space as shown below. In addition, trim it to your liking and you're done!
