Make your characters shine beautifully under sunlight — without the hassle!
You might have seen the classic trick: paint a red layer, blur it, add yellow, blur again, then change the blending mode.
It works well, but…
-
Once you finish, it’s almost impossible to adjust.
-
Trying different color combinations means redoing the whole process.
This Auto Action fixes that. It gives you full control, lets you edit anytime, and makes color experiments effortless.
-
Create a new layer named “Gradient glow.”
-
Softly paint the areas where you want the glow.
(Color and brightness don’t matter—only the opacity affects the final result.) -
Run the Auto Action.
Customize the Result-
Adjust placement:
Edit the “Gradient glow” layer → delete its duplicate above → copy the adjusted "Gradient glow" and put it where the old one at.
(Or just keep the base “Gradient glow” and run the Auto Action again.) -
Change colors:
Open the Gradient Map layer → double-click to edit the colors.
⚠️ Don’t change the white value—it acts as a neutral tone in this method.
