Press gently for a large airbrush, press harder for a smaller opaque line. Flip or rotate the canvas to easily control which edge is hard. Use the eyedropper to pick in-between colors and blend easily. I like to 'sketch' and block in with this brush, then swap to other brushes for small details. I did these paintings with just this brush though.
note: if the brush is lagging, change subtool detail "gap" setting from fixed to narrow.
