The spice drawer, well known by it's most popular manufacturer's name- Reda, was a common stable of Scandinavian kitchens. These drawers could be mounted upon a wall or placed on top of a surface.
Often, these drawers are mounted directly under a wall-mounted cabinet and over the most common food preparation space.
These drawers stored spices and herbs and other dried goods that were sold in bulk at the grocery store.
The drawer unit may be made of plastic or wood while the bottles and drawers were made of glass. The drawers were beveled to a point to control the flow of the spices.
