I wanted a border pen for hair, but I also wanted it to be comfortable for sketching, with a blurry, soft feeling like the SAI pen tool. When I press hard, I want it to look soft.
With this, if I want to add some lines or details while drawing hair, I can keep using the same brush.
Main colour = fill colour. Sub colour = border colour. The sub colour is also used to draw lines. 2 in 1!
Since the border is soft and blurry, it also makes an easy, good-looking border when shading clothing and other things. Blur it a little bit afterwards and you're done.
Everything before "+10 min" is drawn with one border brush.
Afterwards, I used a soft airbrush, a blur tool, and an eraser to clean it up. At the end, I processed it with a tone curve and the 'retro grain' filter.
I also included a blur and a magnet lasso in the catalog, for convenience.
