An analogue feeling oil crayon for doodling and blending.
A really fun crayon tilt brush that encourages blending and layering colors, utilizing a nostalgic color set. The lighter the pen pressure, the more easily it blends and the stronger the texture becomes. To get different values I recommend you layering your colors.
At larger sizes, it resembles a fluffy cloud and can be used for blocking in backgrounds.
Lowering the density to 75% or 50% helps with blending gradually so you can build up different gradients. It's also handy for adding more texture to an image without changing the color quite as much.
Edit: Added a variant for people working on larger canvas sizes or those who want a more gritty texture that varies even more with pen pressure. If this still isn't enough, try tweaking the texture scale ratio in the brush settings.
Excluding the stars, all of the colors in the night sky here were made with oil crayon 1 and the accompanying color set.
