This material can be used in Studio Mode. (What is Studio Mode?)

Testing methods to create dispersion effect on CSP.

I tried to make some adjustment and recordings for how to make dispersion effect via auto-action, but the result isn't up to par compared to do it manually via brushes, so this set is just suitable for messing around, feel free to play with it if you want!!

There are several methods to try to make your drawing having some cool dissolving effect, but if all of them aren't up to your liking, feel free to just use the set up for brush method to brush it out yourself!!

Brush method using my own brush:

Noise method using perlin noise:

Remember to adjust the scale level as small as you can, otherwise the dissolve fragment will look janky

The tone method:
Dots (any type):

Lines:

Halftone method: (this method still has some issues, i will fix them as soon as i can, please skip this method if you want):

Layer template method:

Template used:

Notes (IMPORTANT!!)

Set your subject separate from the background and always position to one side of the canvas:

This is what the layer used for dispersion will look like:

Because the gradient layer can't be set to my preferred preset beforehand, please remember to rotate it 90 degree to achieve the best result

When adjusting the noise/tone, remember to always position the larger edge right in the middle of the image.

If there are gaps between the main and effect layers, feel free to transform the MASK of each image layer:
  =>

Set up for the layer template method: Template => subject => bg

I will include a pack of layer templates below but feel free to make your own!!

After running the methods, you can use the finish up action to fancy up your dispersion result!

That's it! The actions are still very limited so feel free to touching up your drawing via brushes or manipulate the numbers/measurements of the commands included in the set!

Because this set is very simple and flawed, it is permanently free!.
