This material collection includes materials that can be used in Studio Mode. (What is Studio Mode?)

This kit includes 3 color sets as well as 2 gradients to help give you a start creating dazzling fluorescent art similar to UV/Blacklight-Reactive paintings.

Update: Due to uncommunicated restrictions regarding this material, the previous CC0 explainers have been retired in exchange for fast and messy explainer images with the help of our new friend: Brelb Plumbo!

He's illustrated! He's nondistinct! He's good enough!

This kit includes 3 color sets as well as 2 gradients to help give you a start creating dazzling art similar to UV/Blacklight-Reactive art.

Blacklight Painting (Color Set) — The more vivid set, this should satisfy most use cases.

Blacklight Painting (Alternate) (Color Set) — If there's a color that's not quite what you need, these colors may also work. They're less saturated with a different set of hues.

Blacklight Shading (Color Set) & Blacklight-izer (Gradient Set) — Something important to remember when making blacklight art is that the visual pop from blacklight paintings are not only about the colors themselves, but also the contrast between the colors and their surroundings. Context implies the nature of the color.

Compare the two swatches:
Certain additions to the background recontextualize the colors, giving them more "pop"

I have included a gradient that achieves a similar effect, changing a black and white shaded image to a blacklight-shaded image, perfect as a base:

Remember to keep this color relationship in mind when creating your art, and have fun!
