A wide brush that is helpful for blocking in a painting and achieving a quick textured gradient. It can mix with other colors as well.
Relies on pen pressure and does not utilize tilt. Broad strokes go either way. The texture is most noticeable on the edges, so that makes it useful for creating a nice sense of depth between midtones. Especially helpful for shadows as it can cover a large surface area.
