Happy Halloween, all!
Just in time for the spookiest season of the year (except tax filing time), here's a haunting assortment of creepy things that go bump in the night! Enjoy making your own cobwebs and sprinkling them with spiders, or make a sacrifical scene with a dead skull and ritual dagger. There's stuff here for anyone who's not afraid to dabble in the dark.
The Web Rib brushes are ribbon brushes! For some reason, they don't play nice with pressure sensitivity; try it and you'll see some faded, partial webs. Not really as intended, so leave the pressure alone for the ful web rib. Even with the partial web though, you can get some convincing results.
The complete big webs, the web centres, the skull, the death's head spider, the egg sack, and the dagger are all image materials. They are a decent size, so you can resize them to make them as dominating on your image as you like. In my opinion, bigger webs are creepier!
The Web Centres are there just for a focal point to make your own webs with the Web Rib brushes. I've never seen any custom web making options in the asset store here on Clip Studio, so now there is one!
The Spiderling Brush is exactly as it says it is: A spray of tiny spiders. You can make infestations with this brush pretty quick.
The Spider Nest brush is there so you can have a little ambush point and a resting spot for your spider/s. I never see these in asset packs either; thought I'd make one. For completion sake.
All things you see in this pack have been drawn by hand with a Huion tablet. No tracing, but I did use photos for reference. Making convincing webbing is actually a lot harder then it looks. I used the Web Ribbon brush in this asset pack to make all the webs you see here.
Stay safe out there, but let the wolf out every once in a while. 'Tis the season after all.
