Tone Effects Light and Dark

Tones that can be used for background effects and have a color option.

This is a screentone effect.

For best results, use the LEVELS to adjust the dark and light. While it has screentones already on the brush, using the EFFECT option on your layers can make the screentones look better! For DOT SETTINGS, I reccommend "circle" or "noise."

Depending on the resolution of your page, you might need to increase the frequency as well!

Below is what happens when I use one of the square brushes, adjust the levels, and add tone effects.

First is default. The second image is the circle tone, while the third is the noise tone.

 It can also be used for color! Use a white brush for the base color, then make new layers and add colors with different properties like overlay or vivid light. 

I utulized the tone settings for these as well!


Here is a comparison chart for each brush and how they look. NOTE: Three brushes are best used for dark backgrounds and have the term "darkonly" on them!
