I created it to make it easier to draw tree branches with anime background drawings and make it fun to draw a lot of branches.
I have been drawing background paintings for anime for more than 25 years, and I feel that drawing tree branches in a natural atmosphere is a rather difficult technique even in background painting.
For example, until you can ride a bicycle, you will first get used to riding a bicycle with training wheels, and by drawing using this "random branch brush" that grows branches as a supplement, you will gradually get used to drawing tree branches, so I created this brush.

【Instructions on how to use】
In accordance with the brush strokes, branches grow randomly.
There are two types of brushes, "branch brush _UP" and "branch brush _DOWN", which differ in the direction in which the branches grow.
【Other brush settings】
・ Changing the settings of "particle density", "presence or absence of starting and ending", and "drawing color / background color" will change the way branches appear.
・ If you change the "particle size", only the size of the branches that grow randomly will change.
・ If you turn off "Dual Brush", random branches will not appear. This is useful if you only want to draw a trunk or thick branches.

ブラシストロークに沿ってランダムに枝が生えてくるブラシです。
アニメの背景画で木の枝を描きやすくし、たくさんの枝を描くのが楽しくなるようにと作成しました。
私はアニメの背景画を25年以上描き続けていますが、木の枝ぶりを自然な雰囲気で描くことは、背景画を描く中でもかなり難しい技術だと感じています。
例えば自転車に乗れるようになるまでは、まずは補助輪付きの自転車に乗って慣れていくように、枝を補助的に生やすこの「ランダム枝ブラシ」を使って描くことで、徐々に木の枝ぶりを描くことに慣れていく、そんな上達の助けにもならないかと思い、このブラシを作成してみました。

【使い方説明】
ブラシストロークに合わせて、ランダムに枝が生えていきます。
枝が生える向きが異なる「枝ブラシ_UP」と「枝ブラシ_DOWN」の2種のブラシがあります。
【その他のブラシ設定】
・「粒子密度」「入り抜きのありなし」「描画色/背景色」の設定を変えると枝の出方などが変わります。
・「粒子サイズ」を変えるとランダムに生えてくる枝のサイズのみ変わります。
・「デュアルブラシ」をオフにすると、ランダムな枝は出てきません。幹や太い枝のみ描きたい場合に便利です。
