A smearing paint brush.
Realistic paint brushes (like oil or acrylics...) smudge and smear paint, so I made a brush with the smear blend mode on to try and replicate that. 
You should play around with the settings while painting. I change mine around a lot. Sometimes I disable density for more bold strokes, or sometimes I lower the opacity bar and later strokes to make it softer. Also the brush is demanding so I would suggest adjusting the gap if you need to or turn off perceptual blending.
