Visual Novel Size Scale

Content ID:2241843

A simple size scale graph for creating visual novel characters between 2 feet and 6 feet in height.

This is a very basic sizing scale that is intended as a reference guide for creating avatars to be used in visual novel-style projects. As such it isn't sized to include full body shots, but rather to show a more manageable scale for final production. The image itself is way oversized (4000 x 2250 px at 144 dpi) for easy rescaling later should you so choose.

You'll notice there are two blue lines. These are more or less intended as symbolizing what is generally "in-bounds" (as in not too big and not too small.) The higher blue line is bigger to also show a kind of average adult height range between 5 and a half feet to 5 feet and 9 inches.

The scale was designed with imperial measurements in mind so the metric units are more or less approximations. At the top measurement I wrote out the word "FEET" but then for every subsequent number I just used the standard apostrophe so as to save space for the actual project pieces. Every grey bar (except at the top and bottom) represent 6 inches, the big blue bar is 3 inches, and the small blue bar is one inch.

Here is a very basic example (silhouettes not included in the project file.)
