This handpainted lightning set includes 26 different lightning/thunder brushes 🥰

Hope they will be useful for your illustrations, comics or manga. Feel free to tag me in your work 💕 If you have any suggestions for more variants, different shades or elements, let me know.

Use the brushes on Add Glow layer effect so it will shine even brighter. Or copy the layer, blur it, move it below the first one and set it to glow, or screen, depending on your background layer. Try with different layersettings for the desired effect <3

Thunderbrushes have 2 versions: the normal one is a shade of yellow, the tint
brushes can be coloured when you choose your colours (top and bottom colour)
This way you can customize the lightning effects to your likeing. 🥰

Small short lightning bolts (normal and tint version), and some small effects you can add to the bigger effects to build you desired Thunder.

A few different longer repeatable thunderversions which only have a tint version (so you can choose the colour)

And a few smaller and bigger thunder explosions (6 versions in total), 1 thunder orb and a brush you can use for an explosion effect.

How you can add the lightning effect to already existing artworks.

Here is the artwork with effects. This is just an example. I would love to see, what you come up with these brushes and if they are working for you and if not, what the problem might be, so i can fix them. 🥰💕
