A few stubble brushes for different types of beards!
I draw too many characters with stubble and got lazy, so I made a few brushes. ;w;
Examples below. Please change the particle size, spray density, gap, angle, etc. to whatever feels best to you!
There's also a monochrome brush (basically a static spray) and an eraser to help shape facial hair more easily.
(The eraser, erasing a solid & two of the other stubble brushes)
If you find yourself having trouble with where your stubble ends up and you're lazy, here's a quick tutorial.
1 - Fill in the area you want your stubble to be in on a new layer.
2 - Re-color it so it's the skin color (or the background like this). Make a clipping layer above it.
3 - Fill in the clipping layer with whatever stubble you like.
4 - Shape the bottom color/skin layer with an eraser and or blender. This way you can shape it without worrying about erasing what you put down.
