How to change the color of the pattern:
1. Under the Layer Property window, select this icon with a square overlapping the square.
2. Selecting the rectangle next to Layer color will allow you to change the pattern's black color.
Selecting the rectangle next to Sub color will allow you to change the pattern's white color if there is a 2nd color in the pattern.
