Soft painting brush made for general painting. Can produce both hard and soft edges to reduce the amount of switching in between tools.
Adjust brush density for softer application.
To "blend" use softer application to allow colours to become more transparent. Colour pick the new mixed colour to use to blend in between. You can achieve softer application with lighter pressure.

Brush appears softer when the brush size is increased. Smaller brush size will make harder looking lines.
