Any darker than this tends to collapse. Shadows of normal figures are 20%, impressive scenes only 30% gray or gradetone... I use them differently like this. I'm from the generation that used screentones, so this is the most calming.

However, unlike offset printing, when printing at a convenience store or on-demand service, the black ink may be shiny and give a darker impression than expected, so be careful about the model and type of ink.

Unlike paper, the screen is shiny, so even 20% gray feels thin.

Dotting increases the amount of information and adds parentheses, but some people feel that the dots are creepy, so it is necessary to change it according to the customer base of the media.

However, if you use only gray on digital media, the contrast will decrease and the appeal will decrease, so you need to tighten the screen moderately with black solid or hard pen touch.

Former analog artists may not get used to the above differences and their drawings may become blurry when transitioning to digital.

【使用例】　高級そうな毛皮のコートを描きます。

　ベクターレイヤーに描いてからブラシのサイズとブラシ先端画像の角度等を調整して形を整えます。

　新規レイヤーでカケアミブラシを使用し黒で影を、白で毛のハイライトを入れます。

　これだけでもペン画や銅版画のような雰囲気になって良い感じです。

　新規レイヤーに30％グレーで影を付けます。レイヤーを乗算モードと網点化して完成です。
