Make rulers without fussing over consistency! 📏

I don’t know if this exists anywhere…but I figure it’d be useful 🤷‍♀️

There are 3 categories: inch, centimeter, and custom. There are 2 types for each, line tool and brush (works like a ribbon brush.)

They’re pretty straightforward! I also suggest; if your ruler is not at an angle that’s straight towards the viewer, you’re probably going to want to change the angle. Best method is making a length of line or brush on a layer, then using the perspective tool for it.

Not that it matters much, but the inch and centimeter brushes are also to scale (compared to each other.) As far as I know, anyway. I’m not the best at math, haha. (Roughly 2.5 cm to 1 inch ratio, if you need to change the gap size and be consistent.)

This is free! The price might change in the future, after the initial 48 hours, but that will only be if I need clippy at the time. It will return to free afterwards.

Edit 1: I got the gap size for the cm ruler wrong! See the change log. Change the gap size to 6 instead of 7.5. Then, save the setting as default.

You can also re-download the centimeter brushes.

Also: the very first line on each brush represents 0!

09/09/23 - I did get the math wrong lol!!! Changed both centimeter rulers to be properly proportionate. You don’t really need to re-download, you can just change the gap number on the “Stroke” tab to “6” instead of “7.5.” If you don’t understand, you could ask for help/clarity, or just download the new cm brushes.
