Start with a small brush size and start in the distance (higher on the canvas), creating a limited number of rows of individual animals.
Repeat the first step slightly lower on the canvas with a larger brush size.
Continue to increase the brush size as you repeat the process progressively lower on the canvas until your herd is built to your satisfaction.
