My oval brush used for sketching, line art, and painting
This is my oval brush that I made that I used for pretty much everything. It has a bit of a dry alcohol marker feel to it at lower densities. This feels great if your tablet pen has a felt tip or if your screen is matte/paperlike.
With stablization it can feel sluggish and draggy, so I prefer it without. If you need it, I would recommend keeping it as low as possible.
I'm someone who draws naturally with light pressure, so you may have to make adjustments if you draw heavy-handed You may also need to adjust if you draw at smaller resolution/DPI
For a dry look with fast strokes, adjust Velocity under Thickness and/or Brush Density. This will "dry out" the lines between end points of a stroke (example below using only Thickness Velocity, Brush Density Velocity off.).
For a consistent dry look unaffected by speed, remove Velocity overall and just adjust Brush Density.
Makes for a good eraser too (especially if you like the realism of still seeing erased lines), but would have to play around with Thickness adjustments for it to feel more precise.
