A photo of a Sunset over a broken, frozen wave
Good Afternoon CSP!
Today we have a photo taken during the Winter just passed. The winds are quite fierce in these areas and when combined with the -30c temp, the waves are whipped up and frozen in mid air, forming crushing blocks that shatter upon one another building up a blocky ice wall. Once the deeps of the lakes are frozen over, the waves continue for a short while still, freezing the waves in place and causing petrified ripples across the icy surface.
While travelling down to the docks nearby, I was lucky enough to catch this spectacular sunset. With thanks to the cloud cover, it shaped it into an almost nuclear bomb style eruption of light.
Perfect for a winter's background, for a skybox colour palette or gradient. Pull out pieces with line art and make a rocky mountain chasm or even just a waved surface for a metal texture. Plenty of options here.
Please leave a like if you like and gifts are always appreciated.
Until next time, have a great day!
