I have pretty bad OCD, so I like to have most of my brush categories/important tools on the side bars in specific groups so that I can easily minimize them while drawing. The less clutter the better, and this style meshes really well with my drawing tablets macro buttons. With those I don't have to make room for some of the functions on my toolbars and it free's up even more space.
Hopefully if there's anyone else out there like me maybe you can also benefit from it ^.^
