My personal gradient map for painting gold!
It matches with the basic Dark->Light coloring method in order for shading to be as easy as possible. Paint/Shade shadows as shadows and highlights as highlights, fully supports the full length of pure black to pure white.
Step 1: Paint your gold in grayscale
Step 2: Apply the gradient map, simple as that!
