This is a brush that can easily stroke hatch.
For black and white manuscripts.

I tonal correction a photograph that I took, and become a monochrome
convert brightness to opacity
Making a drawing layer on it and clipping in layer below
Nature coat with Brush
I made it by the procedure.
Roughly within ten minutes.
The strokes should look like this:
