I like crayons and the way they look when you blend them together, so I thought I'd make a digital brush version, along with a set of colors that you might find in a real-life crayon set.
This brush will probably look the most “authentic” when used over a paper texture background, so I recommend finding or making one that works best for you.
Using a lighter pen pressure, you can go back and forth, layering colors to create a blended crayon look, like the one above. No blending tools needed! It takes a little practice, but the end result can look really pretty.
