Angled Chainlink Fence

A seamless tile of a chainlink fence at an angle.

The seamless tile as-is does not adhere to accurate perspective. It works when it is free-transformed into the perspective. The normal chainlink fence tiles don't appear at an angle, so this is for images like what is sampled.

To make the lineart thinner or thicker—before transforming the tile to perspective; convert the brightness to opacity, go to layer>selection from layer>create selection. Then, go to selection>shrink selected area or expand selected area (depending on if you want it thinner or thinker) and choose the amount of pixels you want the lineart thinner or thinker.

From here, you may need to manually refill the inside of the chains again. You can either simply use the fill bucket tool, but depending on your settings, this may mess up the lineart. To prevent that, create another layer below the lineart, but select the spaces in the lineart you want to fill with white/color/tone. Once you have the whole area selected, increase the selected area by at least 1 pixel. Fill the layer below the lineart with white, color, tone or whatever you want. Merge the layers of the lineart with the color to make your fence solid again and no longer transparent.

If you know of better ways to do this, feel free to use them, I am simply sharing what works best for me in case it works well for others too.
