五友は竹・梅・蘭・菊・蓮を指します。
文人画の画題に使われますが、今回はそれを文様として扱いました。
七宝繋と一緒に扱っていますので吉兆文様になるかな…。季節は問いません。
今回の様に帯に使うもよし、着物に使うもよし。背景に使うのもいいかなと思います。
