An auto action I made to speed up my process when making panels for comics, all while keeping things organized! It creates a folder and adds different labeled layers for each step of my process. Should be useful and easy to adjust for any variations in workflow! Enjoy!
An auto action I made to speed up my process when making panels for comics, while keeping things organized! And in three easy steps! (For you the user, that is).
Planning on keeping it free for at least 48 hours. May shift to clippy price after (TBD, price no more than 10cp).
Steps
1. Select a layer (Initial Raster Layer Recommended)
2. Go to the auto-action menu with it selected and press play. A pop up will appear asking you to confirm the folder name (Accept or add numbers to the end if you're planning on making multiple panels)
3. Folder with layers with appear, ready to go!
The layers inside the folder are as follows in descending order
- Panel Box
- Text/Speech Bubble
- Environment color (Multiply at 46 opacity)
- Effects
- Line art (Vector, set as Reference Layer)
- Rendering
- Highlights (Screen)
- Shading (Multiply)
- Flat Colors
- Sketching
- 3D assets (Adding 3D models may create a new layer, treat this as more of a placeholder).
Work your way up from the bottom and you should be gold!
***WARNING: DO NOT HAVE A PREVIOUSLY MADE PANEL FOLDER SELECTED/ANY LAYERS INSIDE OF ONE SELECTED IF YOU ARE MAKING MORE PANELS WITH THIS AUTO-ACTION. IT WILL INSERT THE NEW FOLDER INTO THE OLD ONE. MAKE SURE YOU SELECT A LAYER OUTSIDE OF ANY PANEL FOLDERS***
