Inspired by the Khanga/Kanga textile of the Swahili people.
I have a DnD character who takes inspiration from the real life Swahili people, so naturally needed to recreate some of their textiles for use in their clothing. This is the first part, intended to be a ribbon at the bottom of a piece of cloth.
I referenced actual examples of the textile for accuracy and recreated a pattern I liked while keeping in mind my character's colour scheme (as well as the colour scheme present in the reference material).
NOTE: I, myself, am not Swahili and do not speak for them. I do not know how entirely accurate this is to real Khanga/Kanga textiles and intend no harm.
