Slightly improved VHS-effect with more tweaks. (WORKS WITH UPDATE 5.1.0+ ONLY!!!)
IMPORTANT NOTE: WORKS PROPERLY WITH THE LATEST CSP UPDATES (5.1.0+) ONLY!!!
A slightly improved, better retro VHS-effect here! Adds few other little additions alongside the effects, that are applied in my older VHS-effect auto action.
If the Glow-effect (or any other effect) in this auto action comes out too strong, feel free to adjust the setting in the glow-panel once it appears etc. Feel free to leave out any added effect too.
Other small & optional tips for the retro look:
- If you want that retro animation cel-look, add a subtle black drop shadow behind your characters/objects they use etc.- Export the final image as JPEG and lower its quality while doing so.- Use a free open-source app (for Windows and Mac) called "ntsc-rs", to add more authentic VHS-tape look into your image.
