I made it to feel somewhat connected.
I made the shadow position only upward, so I don't think it will be too unnatural.
Colors are editable.
The edges are thick and indistinct, so if you are in the way, you may want to fill the blank part of the layer with "transparent".

陰の位置を上方にだけ作ったのであまり不自然にならないのではと思います。
色の編集可能です。
縁は太目で不明瞭なので、邪魔な場合は当該レイヤーの空白部分に「透明」で塗りつぶすとよいかもです。
