"Mutsu Moriyoshiyuki" 3D model data

* With a special texture that has already been lit. You can switch between two patterns, one with a light source shining from the front of the sword and one from the back.
* Sword hook is not included. Please note.

■Product description
This material is a 3D model that reproduces the blade of the famous sword "Mutsu Moriyoshiyuki" that has carved a name in history as accurately as possible.

The dimensions of the blade, the layering and original width, the structure of the ridge, the shape of the stem, and the position of the eye nail hole are modeled based on detailed materials.
The fist, including the brim and armor, was also carefully finished in detail.

The power and presence of a famous sword brings a certain persuasive power to the creation of works.

■A famous sword that wears history
"Mutsu Moriyoshiyuki" is a sword that has been handed down as the love sword of Sakamoto Ryoma.

It is a sword that is said to have been carried during the Omiya Incident, and it can be said that it is a witness to the history of Ryoma.
It was cherished even after Ryoma's death, but was burned down by the Kushiro fire in 1913.

At that time, the warp of the blade and the blade were also lost, and the appearance of the past was spoiled.
However, traces of Mutsu Moriyoshiyuki's specialty of the fist-shaped choko (blade letter) and the inscription on the stem remain, albeit faintly.

Considering Mutsu Moriyoshiyuki's other works, before it was burned, the warp would have been a little deeper, and the blade would have been gorgeous.
This material was created with the aim of faithfully three-dimensionalizing the current appearance without forcibly trying to reproduce the past.

Even today, it has been preserved and inherited as a witness to history, and it can be said that it is a way to know the history of Japan.

本素材は、歴史に名を刻む名刀『陸奥守吉行』の刀身を、可能な限り正確に再現した3Dモデルです。

刀身の寸法、重ねや元幅、棟の構造、茎の形状や目釘穴の位置に至るまで、綿密な資料をもとにモデリング。
鍔（つば）や鎺（はばき）を含む拵も、細部にわたり丁寧に仕上げました。

名刀が持つ迫力と存在感が、作品制作に確かな説得力をもたらします。

■歴史を纏う名刀
『陸奥守吉行』は、坂本龍馬の愛刀として伝わる刀です。

近江屋事件の際に携えていたとされる刀であり、龍馬を看取った歴史の証人と言える刀でしょう。
龍馬の死後も大切に受け継がれていましたが、1913年の釧路火災により焼身となりました。

その際、刀身の反りや刃文も失われ、往時の姿は損なわれてしまいました。
しかし陸奥守吉行の得意とした拳形丁子（刃文）の痕跡や、茎の銘など、面影は微かではあるものの残されています。

陸奥守吉行の他の作を鑑みるに、焼ける前は反りももう少し深く、刃文も華やかなものであったでしょう。
この素材は、無理に往時を再現しようとせず、現在の姿を忠実に立体化することを目指して制作しました。

現在も、歴史の証人として保存・継承されており、まさに日本の歩みを知る一振りと言えるでしょう。
日本という国が伝えてきた名刀を是非作品制作にお役立てください。
