Density can help artist make sparse or distant field of grass with little detail, or show an overgrown thicket of an unkempt lawn or forest undergrowth.
Brush color changes based on main and sub colors selected. Outline of grass is set to "main color", and inside part of grass blade is set to "sub color" as shown below:
Playing with particle size and density can have an interesting effect on both layering and blending of foreground/middleground/background!
