地域や時代、各家庭などで形状がかなり違います。我が家はこんな感じの作りでした。切り込みなどは省略しています。

こもづつは手頃な大きさの石でも木片でもなんでも代用可能です。

我が家ではこの織機で筵っぽい敷物や、藁ではなく刈った背の高い雑草などを使って畑の日よけ（寒冷紗代わりだと思われる）とかも作っていました。

ものすごく色々使えるのでこの道具の汎用性は高いです。
