This material is a 3D model that reproduces as accurately as possible the blade of the famous sword "Heshikiri Hasebe", which has engraved its name in history.
The dimensions of the blade, the layering and original width, the structure of the ridge, the shape of the stem, and the position of the eye nail hole are modeled based on detailed materials.
The fist, including the brim and armor, was also carefully finished in detail.

■A famous sword that wears history
"Heshikiri Hasebe" is a famous sword that is said to have been used by Oda Nobunaga. The origin of the name is that Nobunaga used this sword to press down the tea lord by hand.
Kuroda Kanbei was worshipped by Nobunaga and has been carefully handed down to the Kuroda family for generations. The stem is engraved with gold inlay, which indicates that it was mastered by Honami Mitsutoku.
Although it is now a sword, it is said that it was once a large sword, and you can see that it has changed greatly due to polishing. It can be said that it is proof that the famous sword has been used carefully because of it.
The sword is a golden shark blue lacquered sword, and it is a copy of the sword "Atakakiri", a sword that was handed down as a family heirloom to the Kuroda family. The luxurious gold haze work brings a spectacular presence, and even from a distance, you can recognize it as "Hashikiri Hasebe".

■歴史を纏う名刀
『へし切長谷部』は、織田信長が愛用したとされる名刀です。信長が茶坊主を手討ちにする際、この刀を用いて圧し切ったことが、号の由来となっています。
信長より黒田官兵衛が拝領し、黒田家に代々大切に伝わってきました。茎には金象嵌で銘が彫られており、これにより本阿弥光徳により極められたことがわかります。
現在は打刀となっておりますが、かつては大太刀だったとされ、磨上げにより大きく姿が変わったことがわかります。名刀が故に大切に使われてきた証と言えるでしょう。
拵は、金霰鮫青漆打刀拵となっており、黒田家に家宝として伝わった刀、『安宅切』の拵を写したものとなっています。豪華な金霰の細工は圧巻の存在感をもたらし、遠目にも『へし切長谷部』とわかる程です。
現在も、日本が誇る美術品として大切に保存・継承されており、まさに日本刀文化の奥深さを物語る一振りです。
