I tried to make two brushes that can create tree shade, and they have a watercolor texture.
When you use the 'sunlight' brush, you can set the layer mode to 'glow dodge' or 'add’
when you use the 'shade' brush, you can set the layer mode to 'multiply' or 'linear burn'
This is my first attempt, and it's still a bit rough, but I hope they can help you to some extent in your painting.
