It's not seamless.
You can use it when drawing backgrounds, layer it as a texture on top of a coloring layer to increase the amount of information, and use it for various purposes.
Due to the large image size, you may not be able to see the scaling handles if the canvas is small.
In that case, I think it will be displayed by repeating the zoom out.
