Gradient Maps Included:
I use the warm/cool light gradient sets with an "add glow" layer mode, and low layer opacity. I use the shadow gradient sets with a "multiply" layer mode and low opacity. Of course, you can adjust the gradient maps and mess with layer modes and opacity for interesting effects, this is just the most common way I use them.
