For use in the "Cel Template" option when making a new animation file.
Standard pipeline based on Disney movies from the period where they could not afford dedicated inkers.
Good for sketchy animation in raster, or for avoiding the extra labor of a cleanup pass
A Cel Template option when making a new animation file:
Initial/ sketches go on the "Rough" layer, and on the "TD" (Tie-down) layer go your final pencils.
The "FX" folder includes its own TD and Paint layers for particles, flapping clothes, long hair, etc.
Best used with the "Animation Cels" Panel, good use of the Light Table and a textured pencil!
Be sure to set shortcuts for navigating the timeline quickly!
( Animation > Move Frame > Go to [Next/ Previous] Frame)
( Animation > Edit Track > Select [next/previous] Cel)
