This is a brush with a marble texture. You can use it to create either a high polished marble surface or a texture that rather looks like cracked or rough marble.
The effect you can achieve depends highly on blends modes you are using. You have to experiment there around a bit. My favourite blend mode is shiny lighting. This is the one you can see on the miniature picture. In my opinion it results in the most dramatic effect.
Overlay, soft light and multiply are good looking blend modes too.
If you'd like to create a rainbow-like marble stone, you can do it by using this brush in different colors. It is rather going to look like a marble surface with cracks, if you're using different layers and like a color gradient of course, if you only use one layer with different colored marble brushes.
