“Gradient map” might be a bit misleading as instead of creating a well blended map that reliably changes your image accordingly, this one exclusively uses the specified nodes and creates no values in between.
Its got a fair bit of uses. If you overlay it on your picture, different blending modes process your picture in an interesting way!
You can also use it to easily turn a piece into a limited pallete. The below example exclusively references the 5 nodes in the map.
It can be tricky doing things this way, however, you can change the values with ease!
