Create your own galaxies and nebulae from this fuzzy brush!

These are a few brushes with which to make your own space-themed backgrounds! It is pen pressure oriented. Please enjoy!
Use it for whatever else you can come up with, too!

They work best on a dark background.

^ A spiral galaxy, the Cartwheel Galaxy, an eliptical galaxy, and a spiral galaxy as seen from one side.

There are five brushes: regular, minor color shift, major color shift, rainbow, and brighten. Let’s go over them quickly:
1. Regular: Just the basic galaxy brush that has no change in color. Good for a base.
2. Minor Color Shift: This one is great with a bright blue or purple! It gives slight color differences in the stroke which adds nice detail. Also great for nebulae!
3. Major Color Shift: This offers more color difference than the minor brush, but it still falls within the realm of realistic coloration if you use the right colors. Also great for nebulae.
4. Rainbow: This works best with high saturation. It’s mostly just for fun, and it is a fantasy color.
5. Brighten: This is applied after the other brushes. It helps make the stars shine brighter. I use a lot of it in the center of galaxies, and in the middle of the galaxies’ "arms.” It can also brighten a nebula. I use it lightly on most of the image and heavily in the center.

^ You can see the before and after of using the “brighten” brush in the green galaxy above. Everything else has been brightened already.

^ These were done with low-saturation colors.

I love to draw and to cross-stitch! I also make cross-stitch patterns on occasion.
