ペンというかリボンブラシ？というの違いがよくかわかりませんが
ペンで線を引くように描くと、ヤシのてっぺんから根元に向かって描画されます。
葉の部分が大きいので、真っすぐ目にストロークを引くのは楽ですが、
幹の方向を大きく反らす場合は、
葉の終わりまでは真っすぐ引き、幹の部分から方向を変えるとよいです。
（※）葉の部分から方向を変えると、ゆがみが強く出てしまいます。
二種類のヤシの木が左右ランダムに反転するように設定してあるので
連続で使ってもコピーっぽさは出ないかなと思います。
Shiftを押しながら直線モードで描くと、かなり固くなりますので、自然に見えるフリーハンドをお勧めします。
（幹の柄にはパースが付いていません。）
葉と幹は白で押さえてありますので、重ねやトーンなどの範囲選択に便利です。
遠景にはベタで押さえたり、無料素材のベタヤシスタンプなどと組み合わせてもいいかと思います
ある程度の近景UPで使えるサイズにしてりますが、大きめに使う場合は
ブラシサイズの【画面上のサイズで指定】にチェックを入れてください。
